A Tribute To Lucien Carr

Main Ball Room, National Press Club, Washington, DC
March 4, 2005

A baker's dozen of pictures featuring some of the more than
160 Unipressers who showed up to honor Lucien.  The whole affair was
expertly planned and choreographed by Mike Keats, who is mixed in
among several of the pictures.

Jack Kerouac, it is said, typed
"On The Road" on a roll
of UP Teletype paper,
supplied by Lucien, so he
wouldn't have to change
paper in the typewriter.
