April 18, 2005 Kristina Farragut, for the second year in a row, was honored at Archbishop Hannan High School in Meraux for academic excellence. Kristina, a ninth grader, was honored at a banquet in Chalmette.

In January (2005) Chris and Vicki Ewald (Ruth's son and daughter-in-law) visited with aunt Claire at Iris and Pinky's home in Chalmette.
